Rangeworthy WI‘s 57th Flower Show was held at Rangeworthy Memorial Hall on Saturday September 2nd. It was a lovely sunny day and the show was well attended. There was an increase in adult entries - particularly in the fruit, flowers, preserves and cakes. The poem for ‘The Hare’ had 30 entries in the children’s section – many thanks to Rangeworthy School.

This year’s charity class was for a baby jumper. These are for really poor babies referred to as ‘fish and chip babies’ as they are often sent home wrapped in newspaper. Over 40 were knitted in a variety of bright colours and will be sent out to Uganda.
