Rangeworthy WI 49th Annual Flower Show Report Saturday 12th September 2009

The sun shone again for Rangeworthy WI Flower Show and it was well supported.   The judges were impressed with the high standard of entry.  Wendy Moody was congratulated on the quality and size of her onions and Lyn Haigh for her Shaun the Sheep decorated cup cakes.  The children had obviously had fun decorating wellies, making necklaces from sweets and cooking 5 minute chocolate mug cakes.

The afternoon was very busy with people coming both to look and see how well they had done.  The day was also the launch of version 3 of the book ‘The History of Rangeworthy, Bagstone and Hall End’ which has been produced by Rangeworthy W!  Copies cost £10 and can be obtained from the Rose & Crown or Liz Edmunds.

This year the prizes were presented by Howard Gawler.
